HAIR EXTENSIONS

The hair we supply is either Russian Mongolian or Chinese, the lengths are as follows;

Russian Mongolian

12”, 16”, 20”, 24”

Chinese

18”, 22”, 30”

We offer the following fitting methods for our extensions;

Beaded weft - this is the most common & easiest to maintain method that we offer. As the weft is fitted using beads & not braids, it is kinder to your natural hair.

Twin Tabs - this new type of weft is similar to tapes but without the glue. It uses beads to fix to your natural hair & they come in 6cm wide strips.

They have an injection strip top, which mimics natural root growth so they are discrete & less visible, plus Twin Tabs lie flat to the head so are ideal for filling in sides.

Ultra / Pro Tips - these bonded individual extensions are completely reusable without ever needing to re tip the hair, plus they lie flat with the natural flow of the hair. They are fitted using locks / beads.

Nano Tips - fitted using tiny beads this method is completely reusable without needing to re tip the hair.

Yes of course. If required following a consultation, a bespoke package can be supplied to combine multiple fitting methods.

How often your extensions need to be refitted depends on the method, the schedules are are follows;

Beaded weft & Remi Cachet Twin Tabs - 8 - 10 weeks

Remi Cachet Ultra Tips & Nano Tips - 10 - 12 weeks

Refitting is necessary as your extensions will ‘grow out’ with your natural hair. Refitting allows the extensions to be fitted ‘like new’ again.

Another reason is if you leave your extensions for longer you may develop matting between the root of your natural hair & where the extensions are attached further down the strands.

Restoring badly matted hair is a time consuming task & therefore will usually result in increased costs when it comes to refitting.

Sometimes the matting cannot be resolved & in extreme cases the matted area will need to be cut out, resulting in significant hair loss.

In fact - most misconceptions surrounding extensions & hair loss are from people having bad experiences from not following good aftercare practises & attending maintenance appointments.
